Sugar Wharf Deck

The Sugar Wharf is located on the waterfront of Port Douglas’ Dickson Inlet overlooking the Coral Sea and Daintree Mountains. This historic old building was home to Ben Cropp and his “Shipwreck Museum” for many years but is now open to the public as a wonderful waterfront venue. Outdoors on the deck is a stunning location for both your ceremony and reception and only a short stroll away from St Mary’s by the Sea.

Rex Smeal Park

Just along from St Mary’s by the Sea stretches the beautiful Rex Smeal Park overlooking the Coral Sea. This is a very popular location for ceremonies on the point, or on the private little beach. The park is suitable for a variety of receptions/events of all sizes. Our most popular is beneath the beautiful old weeping fig tree, which creates a stage for a magical setting with dripping fairy lights and chandeliers. This was the setting for our Award Winning Wedding entry for the 2007 RCQ Regional, State and National Awards.

Bali Hai

Bali Hai is a retreat that is exclusively yours.  The retreat consists of 4 thatched bures with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  The main living area opens up on to an entertaining area with a wet edge pool that looks out to the tropical mountains. 

Boonooloo

Boonooloo Beach House is situated on the absolute beachfront of the pristine Newell Beach. 3.5kms of unspoilt, secluded beach that will captivate the most discerning guests searching for that special hideaway. Boonooloo, indigenous for ‘beautiful place surrounded by water’ is located just across the bay from Port Douglas.

A beach house influenced by the tropical surroundings of North Queensland opens up onto a 160 sq meter stunning timber deck that encapsulates the perpetuity of the wet edge swimming pool set within the warm natural timbers; only twenty or so footprints in the sand separate the swimming pool from the stunning Coral Sea . Port Douglas Community Centre

Located in the heart of Port Douglas, the Community Centre is a purpose built versatile venue suitable for conference sessions with a/v box, breakout rooms, corporate events and large weddings. The auditorium will seat 160 guests banquet style allowing space for a dance floor. Outside areas also work well fro pre dinner drinks or informal stand up affairs.

High Falls Farm

High Falls Farm is located approximately 25 mins north of Port Douglas in the beautiful Whyanbeel Valley. This property operates exotic fruit tastings and lunch time dining during the day and by night makes the most wonderful riverside venue for events. The Orchard and gardens located beside the restaurant are perfect for a big outdoor event overlooking Whyanbeel Creek or alternatively the timber deck for more intimate affairs.

Port Douglas Treetops Event Centre

Widely considered as one of Port Douglas’ favourite resorts, “Treetops” is back and fresher than ever after completing an extensive multi-million dollar refurbishment in 2009. The resort provides a tropical oasis set amongst rainforest gardens, free flowing waterways, delightful lily ponds and a spectacular central lagoon pool. The Treetops Events Centre provides a purpose built conference facility that can accommodate up to 200 guests in a spacious area bathed in natural light.

The Crystal Chapel

The Beach House

The Beach House on Newell Beach is located on absolute beachfront and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  The lounge opens up to a veranda with views past the saltwater swimming pool to the ocean.
